Alexis Frankel

Alexis Frankel is an Associate Director of Major Gifts, where she works with AJWS supporters to deepen their understanding and commitment to AJWS’s mission. She also acts as national coordinator for Global Circle, AJWS’s young professionals’ program. Before coming to AJWS, Alexis was the Director of the American Jewish Committee’s global young leadership program, ACCESS, that ran programs in the United States, Israel, Brazil, Berlin and Paris.

At the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, Alexis also worked on humanitarian aid and development projects, assisting vulnerable populations from victims of conflict in the Caucasus to orphan populations in Rwanda. A child of parents in the Foreign Service, Alexis spent formative years living with her family in West and Southern Africa.
